When inserting a Quote Product field or a Block field into a quote, an error may be displayed informing that the field must belong to a product list.
What is a product list?
A product list, block, or table is the element responsible for defining where products will be inserted within the quote. This structure is made up of two main elements:
Section Code: identifies each table within the template, making it possible to differentiate, for example, a Products section from a Services section.
Multiple Field Key: defines which fields of the quote will be repeated for each product inserted, normally applied to the table rows.
In the template editor, product tables are highlighted in grey when you hover over them, while Multiple Field Keys appear in pink, indicating the fields that will be repeated for each item inserted in the quote.
Where can I insert my fields?
Quote Product fields can only be inserted inside a Multiple Field Key (highlighted in pink). Block fields, on the other hand, can be added anywhere in the table, either in the grey area or within the pink block itself. Finally, Quote fields can be inserted in any region of the quote template.
