Ensuring that emails are sent at the right time is essential for keeping deals moving through the pipeline. With Ploomes pipeline automations, you can automate this process and maintain continuous follow-up.
Configuration
1. Access the Pipeline
Go to the Deals module (the name may vary depending on your account configuration).
Select the desired pipeline and click Menu > Configure Pipeline.
2. Create the Automation for the Stage
Choose the stage where the automation should be executed (e.g., Hot).
Click Configure Automations > New Automation.
3. Configure the Trigger and Filter
Fill in the Description field with the purpose of the automation.
Under Trigger, select Deal Entered This Stage.
Optionally, add a filter.
Example: Deal > Customer > Type = CompanyIn this example, the automation will run only when the customer associated with the deal is of the Company type.
4. Define the Action
Under When triggered, what should the automation do?, select Send Email.
5. Configure the Sender
Fill in the Sender Type field (in this example, we will use no-reply@ploomes.com).
6. Configure Failure Notifications
Under Select a user to be notified if the email fails to send, you can select your own user account.
7. Configure the Recipient
In the recipient configuration, you can define a fixed email address. Alternatively, if you want the email to be sent to the customer or the deal owner, select the corresponding Email field from the desired entity. In this example, select the Email field from the Contact entity.
8. Enter the Email Content and Save
Fill in the email Subject and Content fields. Finally, click Save to complete the automation configuration.
