Automating the delivery of information to the finance team after a deal is closed helps streamline processes and prevents communication gaps. With Ploomes automations, you can automatically send the relevant information as soon as the deal is marked as won.
Configuration
1. Create a New Automation
Go to Administration > Automations
Select the Deal entity
Click New Automation
2. Configure the Description, Trigger, and Filter
In the Automation Description field, enter a name that identifies the action.
Example: Send an email to the finance team when a deal is wonUnder When should the automation be triggered?, select:
When the deal is won
Next, click the + icon to add the filter:
Filter
Pipeline - equals - Sales Pipeline (example)
3. Define the Action
Under When triggered, what should the automation do?, select:
Send email
Configure the email fields:
Sender
Select a user
User if email fails
Select a user to be notified if the email is not delivered
Recipient
Set a fixed email address for the finance team
Example: finance@company.comSubject
Example: New deal won - [Deal ID]
Content
Include relevant information for the finance team, such as:
Deal title
Amount
OwnerDeal ID
Click Save.
