Keeping track of deals without interactions is essential to maintaining a healthy pipeline and prioritizing truly active opportunities. With Ploomes automations, you can automatically mark deals as lost after a specified period without contact, using the Last Contact field as the basis and eliminating manual actions.
Configuration
1. Create a New Automation
Go to Administration > Automations
Select the Deal entity
Click New Automation
2. Configure the Description, Trigger, and Filters
In the Automation Description field, enter a name that identifies the action.
Example: Mark deal as lost after 45 days without contactUnder When should the automation be triggered?, select:
Periodically
Run automation every: 1 day
Start on: current date (or a date of your choice)
Time: 7:00 PM (or a time of your choice)
Next, click the + icon to add the filters. At this stage, configure the following criteria:
1st Filter
Last Contact > Date > Relative Date - equals - Last 45 days
2nd Filter
Last Contact > Date > Relative Date - is not equal to - Last 44 days
Note: The combination of these two filters ensures that the automation selects only the deals that have reached exactly 45 days without contact. If you want a different period, simply adjust the values (for example: 30 days → equals Last 30 days and is not equal to Last 29 days).
3. Define the Action
Under When triggered, what should the automation do?, select:
Mark deal as lost
Next, select the desired loss reason
Example: Lack of financial resources
Click Save.
