Why are the emails I receive going to the Archive?

Understand the criteria for automatic message categorization and how Ploomes organizes your inbox and archive.

Ploomes adopts a different concept from traditional email inboxes when categorizing messages as Inbox or Archive. The tool does not replace email managers like Outlook or Thunderbird; the goal is to facilitate the recording of interactions with customers, avoiding the manual entry of every contact made.

Email categorization criteria

Inbox

The message goes to Inbox when:

  • At least one recipient or the sender has not been identified as a customer or user in the database;

  • All parties involved have been identified, but there is at least one open deal with one of them, and the email is not yet linked to that deal.

Archive

The message goes to Archive when:

  • All parties involved (sender and recipients) have been identified and there are no open deals for any of them;

  • All parties involved have been identified and there is already a deal linked to the email.
