Check out the two options you have to solve this situation!

The best way to understand this scenario is by creating a hypothetical case. So let’s imagine the following:

In our company, we had an employee – João – a Ploomes user, who was dismissed from the organization.

In his place, we are hiring a new employee – Maria – who will also be a Ploomes user.

Given this scenario, we can take two different actions, which will depend entirely on the answer to the following question:

As the account manager, is it important and/or relevant for me that the history of all actions performed by João (interaction records, completed tasks, etc.) is preserved under his name?

If the answer is yes, we will take the first action. If the answer is no, we will take the second action.

First Option

To preserve the history of interactions performed under João’s name, follow this procedure:

  1. Click on the Administration module on the left side of the screen

  2. In the Users section, click on User Table

  3. Click on the profile you want to deactivate

  4. In the new screen, at the top right, enable the option Deactivate user

After that, proceed to create the new user. Learn how here.

Second Option

If the history of João’s interactions is not relevant, you can simply edit the user data, effectively "transforming" him into Maria.

Here’s how to do that:

  1. Click on the Administration module on the left side of the screen

  2. In the Users section, click on User Table

  3. In the new window, find the user whose information you want to edit

  4. Fill in the fields with the new user's information

In this way, as shown in the previous example, the interactions previously registered under João's name will now appear as if they were made by "Maria."
